Once we got to the end of the skyrail, we headed up to the giant bronze sitting Buddha statue which is part of the Po Lin Monastery. It was huge!

After leaving Po Lin we headed down to the Tai O fishing village. It was once the largest inhabited settlement on Lantau. The village's stilt houses on the waterfront offered a glimpse into Hong Kong's past and provided a striking contrast with the modern city of today.
We then finished off the day with a cruise on the South China Sea as we returned to Hong Kong. Now how's this for a weird sign - I spotted it on the boat on the way home.
