D13: Dublin - Ennis

From Dublin we headed for the dairy farm country in the centre of the "Emerald Isle."

We stopped for lunch in Galway-

Before we crossed the limestone plateau of The Burren-

Then it was time to visit the spectacular 668-foot Cliffs of Moher - which were quite amazing. Thankfully our good run of amazing weather continued and we were really able to witness how impressive this scenery is.

It was then we headed to Ennis in county Clare.

Tonight I enjoyed an optional traditional Irish evening at Bunratty Castle with dinner, wine and entertainment in the setting of a village barn. It was quite different to the show from last night, but it was still quite enjoyable.
