Another dreary day in DC, but that wasn't going to stop me. For something a little different today, I participated in a full day Monuments and Memorials photography workshop.
Our tour/workshop took in some familiar (Lincoln, Korea, and Vietnam Three Servicemen Memorials; Union Station; Washington National Cathedral; and the 76-foot tall Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington) and not so familiar tourist sites (the Albert Einstein memorial and the Adams Morgan entertainment/restaurant district).

| Albert Einstein Memorial in the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences |
| Three Soldiers statue - Vietnam Veterans Memorial |
| Korean War Veterans Memorial |
| Adams Morgan area |
| Cathedral Church of Saint Peter & Saint Paul(aka the Washington National Cathedral) |
| Marine Corps War Memorial (also known at the Iwo Jima Memorial) |
I had a lovely dinner at
Matchbox (
713 H Street, NW Washington) before having a fairly early night.
