Before the show we had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. OMG!!!! It was delicious. Here we met up with more new friends including Celeste from Brazil and Steffi from Germany (who was also going to be staying the night at J's house for the night).
Then it was off to the Dunkin' Donuts Center (aka "The Dunk"). Yes folks, only in America could there be an arena named after a deep-fried dough confectionery.
Thanks to our Silver Package tickets, our seats were again only 6 rows from the stage. I couldn't bring myself to sit through Elew again. I mean, he's good, but for me, once was enough. Funnily enough I had a similar reaction to Katie Noonan, Josh's support act when he toured here in Australia back in 2007. But thankfully once Josh took to the stage all was good with the world once again! We couldn't believe it when during the Q&A Josh answered J's question - so now we know what spells Josh would cast if he had a magic wand.
Here are a couple of clips from the show:

After the show we headed to the back of the arena, and luck was smiling on us as Josh come out to sign. Before he arrived, a few of the Gro-band came out to say hello. It was here Mark told me that they were scheduled to come to Australia in December, but because the record label wanted Josh back in the studio early in the new year, they wanted him to have a break. So it's kind of bittersweet because as much as I would love him to tour Oz, the hint of a new CD is also exciting, especially given "Illuminations" took 4 years. Josh signed my FoJG golden ticket, so that's another memento that will be going straight to the pool room. **
** Bonus points if you got my random aussie movie reference.
