Mum & I have arrived on the French Riviera. Tomorrow night we head to Monte Carlo. Pat is ready to hit the casino... No surprise there.
Have seen all the sites and bought leather in Florence & perfume in France.
At the very last minute, mum was going to pull out of the Gondola ride in Venice (something to do with a very small boat and windy conditions), but our tour guide persuaded her, and in the end she was glad she went. I think that the bottle of champagne helped ease her nerves quite a bit.
It's hard to believe that the tour will end on Sunday. We're really looking forward to Paris and then our week in London
