I know I probably sound like a broken record, but I was very, very excited to read this week that the Monet retrospective "Claude Monet 1840–1926" officially opened at the Grand Palais in Paris. Apparently more than 80,000 advance tickets were sold before the show even opened. The exhibition (which I've already posted about here) will feature more than 200 works, including loans from some 70 international museums and a number of private collections.
I already know that visiting this exhibition will be one of the highlights of my time in Paris.
