Riverfire 2007...

Brisbane’s favourite fireworks spectacular exploded on Saturday night, with the city ablaze from the Story Bridge to the Victoria Bridge. It was a perfect night, and I’m sure the estimated 500,000 people enjoyed the spectacular.


The deafening power of the RAAF F1-11’s ‘dump and burn’ signaled the finale of the dynamic pyrotechnic display. This year is the 10th anniversary Brisbane Riverfestival, and let's hope there's many more to come.

Although I only saw the ‘dump and burn’ as I was at the Gabba watching the Lions – it was still pretty impressive…
